Dear Tina,

When my daughter was a small baby, she had to take 1mg of salt every day, in order to have her NaCl level controlled. As far as I know SWCAH patients should avoid fall of serum NaCl (that is why, they have to get increased level of salt), and avoid the increase of Kalium. That is why, for me it sounds logical to restrict foods with higher Kalium content (e.g.:banana). Our endo has neither ever suggested this in any way - but I have never directly asked her about this.
