re: Can SWCAH children eat banana?

Tami,

I have 2 daughters, 7 & 8, both with sswcah.  I avoid bananas (and other high potassium foods)during times of illness or crisis.  They like bananas and it seems hard enough to have them get all the fruit and veggies they need.  So I let them and it hasn’t affected them yet.  I’ve realized it’s all about balance.  It’s great that you’re asking these questions so you will be able to sort everything out (an ongoing process;)  ).  There are alot of foods that are high in potassium like tomatoes and potatoes.  Best wishes to you!!!!!

Blessings,

Tonia
