Hi all, I just wanted to add that I have no faith in the testing for the gene since sometimes the mutated gene can be missed because it is not one of the first 10 that they check for. My daughter has locah, so do I. They only found one of her genes and did not find my son’s one gene, and he would have to be a carrier because I have 2 genes, therefore had to get one from me. So our unfamilar gene had been missed and if we were going by this alone we would have assumed that my daughter was just a carrier and my son was not.

 I plan to have them look into doing further gene sequencing soon. I don’t mean to sound negative, just want ya to know all the ins and outs, take care.
