As an adult SWCAH. I have gone thru bouts of thrush. It is true that taking steriods does make you susceptible to thrush. It can happen at any time illness, stress, low immune system and because our body systems are always fighting to stay well we get infections very easy. I wish you luck it is going to happen many times over the years so don’t get to worried about it. I have been dealing with it for many years on and off and it also shows when something is not right and i might be coming down with something. It is very hard when kids are little what to do. Things do get better and we move on to the next challenge.   Goodluck.
