Aimee, I know I have told you about my Kristin before - rides horses, has 2 of her own.  Anyway, she just got her driver’s license a week ago and today she drove over to a local stable and picked up an application to work at the barn taking care of horses!  She loves them.  Right now she is talking about studing some kind of equine science when she goes to college (she still has a couple of years) but we will probably ride out to Virginia Tech sometime and take a look around - great vet school (small animal and equine) and talk to someone there.  Right now she thinks maybe she should do something in equine research.  She is also a very talented artist and I keep telling her to try to combine her love for horses and her love and talent for art.

I do believe  our children with CAH can pretty much do whatever they want, depending on the severity of their CAH.  Some jobs may be physically too stressful, but then again, it depends on the person.  Some jobs may be physically too stressfulf or someone without CAH as well.  I always tell Kristin (as I did my older son without CAH) to go for it - whatever it is you want to do.  Don’t limit yourself by what others may say.  I think I held back when I was younger because I lacked the confidence to do things sometimes and I want them to believe they can do whatever they want, because now that I am older I know it’s true!
