Lynn, would you email me about what is involved in having the blood test done to find this? When I was pregnant about six years ago, my husband and I were told that there was no test available to determine if he was a carrier. My first child, by my ex-husband, has CAH and we were concerned about my new husband being a carrier. We went to lengths and found no test available.

I have two subsequent children who DO NOT have CAH, but I would like to have them tested to see if they are carriers before they get old enough to have kids, so they can be armed with that information and we’ll know what their potential spouses will need to be tested for, too, should my other children be carriers.

Thanks for your help. If you have a doctor’s name you could share, that would be great, too, for reference for our physicians.
