Are his bone plates still open?  There’s another drug - Arimidex or Aromatase Inhibitor which can help keep bone plates from closing in addition to the Lupron and growth hormone.  If your son is 16 and has CAH he probably went thru puberty already and I don’t think Lupron would work but I’m not sure.
