I finally got the kids Florinef refilled yesterday (we’d stocked up a while ago). When I got home I noticed that instead of Florinef it says Fludrocortisone. The pharmacy didn’t mention anything about any substitution. I remember reading posts about others who had received this, but couldn’t remember any posts about anything bad about it. I called the pharmacy anyway to stress that they needed to tell me before any substitutions. I thought they might be a little patronizing, but they admitted they "dropped the ball" in not letting me know about the substitution.

Has anyone had any bad experience with the fludrocortisone? I haven’t seen any posts about it, so I assumed it has been working okay.
