Danny - we are the ones who had the horrible experience with fludro. My sons labs went absolutely nutty. I actually made the change without the endo’s approval, not thinking it would make a difference. When his next set of labs came back, none of us could figure out what the heck was happening. Then it dawned on me and I called the endo and told him. His reply was to get off of it IMMEDIATELY and change back to Florinef. At the time, he told me that he had many patients that this had happened to, so he always makes our prescriptions out for "name brand only". and pay close attention when I get it refilled to make sure that the pharmacy doesn’t "accidentally" fill the script with the generic. I have read of many others who don’t seem to have aproblem, yet we did. So,k if you decide to try it, pay very close attention to the labs. It was a nightmare for us. Good Luck!
