Maybe I should EXPLAIN my situation. My Granddaughter has  CAh and I am raising her. We were the ones that made the decision to have surgery done for our Granddaughter. I simply put DID NOT want her to be GAWKED at by daycare workers and people in the health profession, I also felt she would be healed and memory free from the trauma of surgery by the time she would start to ask questions. This is very controversial and there have been MANY  for and against surgery. My Granddaughter had fused labia and some other problems and  she had an enlarged clitorius. I trusted my heart and gut on this decision and have not looked back since then. I do not believe there are ENOUGH statistics to prove the sensitivity issue BASED IN TODAY"S SURGERY! Years ago that might have very well been the case. The ones that believe the surgery is RIGHT NOW are going to argue there cause FOR IT and the ones that feel they are right for waiting will plead there cause for not doing it. RESEARCH ! Collect as much information as you can. What ever you do.... feel good about it...... do it...... and enjoy your baby. The turmoil of the decision is terrible. You are her Mother follow your heart and pray. You will find the answer. There is NO right or wrong on this! It is what fits your childs needs and your conscience. No one elses business or no one elses decision. Find peace !

Sincerely
