I am sure most people who have CAH or CAH children feel the same way you do about exploiting bogus facts about this disorder. The media does not want the truth as it is not interesting enough in SHOCK VALUE to sell there TABLOIDS! Keep in mind they interviewed a YOUNG girl that obviously was not educated on the REAL facts of CAH. Jennifer comes to the board sometimes and she KNOWS how we feel about BOGUS stories. Maybe she needed the money or the recognization of being SOMEONE inmportant for what ever the reason. People do things for reasons out of our control. The best we can do is correct the wrongs that are printed verbally and continue to push for more education on CAH. In proper and truthful medical forums. This child needs the attention and enjoys the media hype she is recieving. Why else would she paint such a morbid picture of CAH!
