I guess we are all entitled to our opinion Betsy. Maybe if you had your own child with CAH and had not been through what you habe but had to watch someone you love suffer through people not considering the hurt their actions cause you would perhaps understand us parents more.  You do not live in the UK, and yes you haven’t read the article, it is a shame that this wasn’t handled better and this young girl is not getting the help she needs.  Things aren’t SECRET Betsy they are PRIVATE! It is not SHAME, it is the cruelty of others especially teenagers - which is the age  this magazine market is aimed at! It is great that you have been able to put your experiences behind you but there are many who are at this tender age trying to deal with some of what you did before you put it behind you. Jan’s daughter is a prime example.
