MarieWell here we go again! ! ! ! ! !
Why do you have to be a parent to understand what children and teenagers are going through? Gee...I remember those long ago days, I can remember how hateful others can be when someone is deemed not quite like everyone else. If you are an adult that has survived CAH, don’t you think, that adult might remember what it was like growing up while living with a little understood condidtion. Don’t you consider that adult may have a wealth of experience and knowledge regarding what it was like to grow up living with CAH? Why is it so bad that Jennifer expressed herself the only way she knew how? Why is it that some of you feel that only you use the proper words to express your feelings? Perhaps Jennifer is not lucky enough to have a supportive, honest family. Why can’t she be angry and express herself? People are truely wonderful, each with a mind and opinion of there own....it makes the world a much more interesting place to live. Oh my..how would it be if everyone thought the same, expressed themselves the same, and believed the same. Sometimes I get the feeling that alot of you here feel that CAH is the worst thing that can happen to a child. Why is that? You refer to diabetic children as if all they have to do is watch what they eat.....It is just as devestating for a parent to find out there child is diabetic (another a life threatening illness)....(just like a "birth mark" not perfect). Get a grip... take the article for what it was....just a girls opinion....or perhaps a mangled piece of journalism....and by the way...if this magazine is known to be controversial and trashy Tonia........Why do you read it? Why do you allow your daughter to read it???? Just my opinion...
