aimeeDear Jane,
I remember that you are into natural ways of helping the body and I was wondering if you had any ideas for menopause? The rad/chemo brought the menopause on early which is ironic because the first gyno thought instead of cancer that I was going into early menopause and if he had just tried to do more of a work -up instead of just trying to give me projesterone so many what if’s and stupid me for once in my life trusting one of them. I’ve since asked doctors about what to do about menopause and all I’ve gotten is blown off and a "you’ll go without" so this has me considering other ideas. Doctors have ignored and minimized everything that I’ve ever said so no reason this should change lol If you have any suggestions I’d like that. Also, I don’t know if you can help with this but across my pelvic area when I was five a supra pubic cystomy (sp?) was done because the clitorectomy & vaginoplasty created a blockage and in order to allow for urine passage they put in a foley cathader right through the pelvic area so the other area could heal. But know the surgery that was done through the pelvic area at age five is now burning like cyanne pepper from the radiation it hurts after sitting for awhile like for my job which is driving or sitting at the computer. The Rad Doc said massage the area but that really doesn’t help and i swim but that only helps for a little bit. The other doctors and nurses aren’t much help and get irritated calling me depressed when I’m crying from the pain across the area. I went to another psychiatrist two weeks ago and that person told me that I wasn’t depressed but instead frustrated with past medical experiences. If you know any Shaman remedies for pain that would be great.
thanks,
Aimee
