Hi Maria,

I live in Houston, TX.  He was diagnosed here in Houston through newborn screening.  I asked his endo if we could have a DNA test done and she told me there wasn’t one available. That is when, through this message board, I found Dr. New in NY. I called her office the next day and made arrangements to have my sons blood sent to them for DNA testing.  I wanted to prove to the doctors here that he didn’t have CAH. Well, I did prove that he didn’t have SWCAH but he still does have CAH. 

We ended up going to see Dr. New and spent two weeks there.  It was well worth the money and time I spent there.
