This is what works for me these days: glasses of water -plain or w/ slices of lemon or cucumber, organic - all vegetables (larger% green),  all fruits, small handful of assorted unsalted nuts,   salmon- 3x/wk (mercury tested), occasional yogurt. This way of eating was just easier for me to do and when I stick to it, I feel good.

Exercise daily- I do what I like which is swimming and walking but I want to get better at yoga/pilates because it’s supposed to be so good for you but I’m not good at it yet. Exercise everyday because it’s something that you like--I found a gym that i was comfortable at--I enjoy the music that they blast through the place. I actually don’t like to lose weight because it’s always an issue from an Endo standpoint.  Weight should be at the correct range because someone enjoys exercise and not because it’s a forced issue. When I was a kid the residents would be so excited that I didn’t gain weight and I hated them. I was a kid, it was summer and I was outside doing kid things. I lost thirty pounds from a tumor and the Endo NP was like you look good are you going to lose more? Losing weight was more important to her than what I was  dealing with the cancer treatments.  I wonder how many with CAH Have eating disorders ?

Like you Mia, I’ve done drastic measures to lose weight and harmed my body in the process.  I wish you the best in eating for your health : )
