I also gained weight when the doctor tried switching me to dex. I quit it and prednisone, which also helped me gain 50 lbs. ,thank you very much,  and I just take Cortef. On ME, it doesn’t seem to effect me the way the others did, especially the prednisone. I will never take that _ _ _ _ again! I have so far been only able to lose 20 of the 50 lbs., so I could use a good diet also.
