ianyeah i did the weight loss on my own, no pressure form doctors. i was near 300 lbs and i didnt want to be anymore. i did the bet i could to eat right, between veggie burgers, soups, fruits, veggies, and outmeal you know? my docs always pressed me to lose the weight when i was kid, but it enver really bothered me, i did what i wanted anyway. im just sick of carrying around this excess body weight, so thats what prompted me to do it. im sure a lot of the weight was lost becuase of thigns i cut out of my diet, like sodas, a lot of bread, a lot of pastas, things like that. i did it for me, and so far besdies that 40lbs i got back(which i am currently shedding), i think i found the balance between weight loss and muscle mass gain. im want to be stronger and healthier because i want to make as good a run as i can at life. i mean a lot of damage is already done, but a lot can be reversed. my weight loss was more of an awakening. but i can completely sympathize with the pressure from doctors, i can evern understand why they do it. but i think too many of them go about it the wrong way. and let me tell you, if you htink normal docs are a pain, try being in a med trial! hhaha.
anyway, yeah low carbs for sure with dex, i only eat carbs before the workout because of the glucose level issues and so on i think i said that tho. fish is soooo good for you, i wish i liked IT! i eat chicken 2-3x per week for my animal protein. other wise..whey protein for me. its the best protien and its a complete protein and i can make milkshakes to drink it! hahah well close anyway. it was nice to get some insights from other people as well so thank you.
and if anyone else is ahving issues with weight loss... there is a trainer at my gym that lost 336 lbs. if he can do that...you know what i mean? wish i could remember the url for his site. im going to the gym tonight, somaybe i will grab it.
