AimeeFeminists don’t have anything to do with CAH. This is a medical condition and that I’d like to feel physically well and Doctors have bedside manners or they don’t. It really depends on the individual doctor male or female and nurses for that matter, if anything I’ve gotten more time because of cah . The Endo that I have now has a great bedside manner and is very compatent with CAH. He is a nice man and he is like that with everyone. I b**** to high heaven but he listens and I had another Endo that was a jerk but that was his personality and all the nurses told me BUT he is also an excellent doctor. Back growing up in the 1970’s with CAH sure many things about doctors learning about CAH made it hard but that is the very nature about people learning about different birth defects and I’m pretty much cracked but I’m so happy that this generation benefits. The 70’s were hard because of the condition itself but people acted with compasion and caring but that doesn’t take away that you we were born with something. We take hydrocortisone and that is no different than someone wear’s glasses . Having a medical condition is something that is taken in a very matter of fact way then off you go and live your life.
