Hi, and welcome. I’m pretty new here myself. I have a 7 month old son with SWCAH. He got his 6 month vaccinations (we were a little late) about 11 days ago, and came down with a fever that night. I figured it was from the shots, but it turned out that the shots coicided with the beginning of a really nasty virus that starts out with high fever, and you end up with a terrible cold,lasts 7-10 days, etc. I just started weaning him off the stress dose yesterday. He had been taking double medication for quite a while. Everyone in the house has had the virus now, so HOPEFULLY we’re done with it!!
By the way, I also live in Va, but southwest, near Roanoke. I was born in Richmond though, and most of my birth family (I’m adopted) still lives in the Richmond area.
