Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. I also have a little girl with SWCAH. My opinion is to tell you NOT TO RUSH into a decision regarding surgery. You do have time to figure out what the options are. My daughter will be three soon and we have made the choice for her to have the surgery. I have been determined that the surgeon must have considerable experience with the procedure and be current with the best medical science has to offer. There are many, many Drs. with the desire to do this surgery but very few with the expertise to ensure the best outcome possible.
