I cannot decide whether you are being sarcastic Aimee. It is very difficult for parents to make the decision and probably the major thought in their minds at the moment.  I can’t advise as I have not been in this position as I have a son with CAH - phone Kelly at CARES, she will give you unbiased information.  The surgery done today is far more successful than that experienced by many adults who post this on this board, even they have not made this decision, it was made for them, rightly or wrongly but I am sure it was done with love.
