Log "Angel’s Experience"  it didn’t say give opinions about the surgery they thought it out, got advice and made a decesion and a good one in my opinion based on the description of the virilization that was like how I had--- I wrote in the following posts of why her daughter will not resent her.Plus if she clicks the link to cares then she will get even more info and connection to doctors that are the most experienced with these surgeries. Critisizing her? that would be like critisizing my own mother or father. She asked for opinions and it stuck me that the adreanl gland crisis part you can die from wasn’t in there maybe she wasn’t thinking about it at the specific time she wrote or maybe she doesn’t even know about that.

Some of you seem so hesitant about dealing with all this Gosh and that is what does get me. Call your Endo’s Office any time! all they can do is tell you to call back or even get a little a little attitude which is OK too. These people are going to be your "friends" aka your childs life line to get medical treatment. I requested my cancer cat scan results right from the hospital and got the results before the doctor did and I called his office waiting for him to call back and he did within the correct time but I had called them before that and they told me "Amy! you’re pathetic and I’d say that to my own daughter" she knew the supense was driving me nuts and because of that got me in early. I sent them doughnuts after that. As for CAH my Endo’s office told me to call them anytime for whatever. Probley because I speak up and sometimes I do and say the wrong things like other people and I must be a really rotten person to write to someone that just has a child born wth the degree of virilization that I did and give her support by telling her if it was my child born like me I would do the surgery too plus I can see that this decision is out of love for her.  

I live with CAH in a very matter of fact way and if you are offended by what is on this board what on earth will happen when you run into medical people that in trying to help your child might say things that you find offensive? I’ve tried to give support with also experiences living with CAH.  You’ll all need to lighten up and have fun withthis condition instead of feeling so bad that you have a child born like me. People w/ CAH are doctors, nurses,  Lawyers, mothers or whatever they want to be.
