Cherry LaneRobin,
Yes there are times when SOME are more critical than others. Just skip those posts and look for the positive ones. Keep in mind that we all have hard days at the office sometimes. We cannot be sweeter than sugar and pastey sweet to all posts. If that were the case it would not be a true board where people can come here with the good times and the bad. I would like to think everyone is broad minded enough to know that no one is REALLY attacking ANYONE on the board they are just airing there differences. Yes .......that is what the controversy board is for......but sometimes we get carried away with our posts and don’t think about what we write. I have started to reread my posts before I hit submit to see if there is any way what I write could INTENTIONALLY hurt someone. When you read a post you find negative or ugly instead of being critical write one under it to lighten the load. I think we have a wonderful source of information here to help numerous people about cah. But to portray just a positive side of it would be giving the new people a distorted view of how WE REALLY FEEL about CAH and its effect on us on a daily basis. There ARE DAYS we are angry/confused/scared/bitter/sad/depressed/and in general think it is a pain in he butt. REALITY.......others times we realize how lucky we are to have a disorder that is treatable with meds and we are happy/grateful/lucky/curious/giddy and silly. REALITY....... Most of all we are a group of people who come on this board and share ALL of each other the good and the bad and accept each of us for who and what we are that day. This is what makes this board so unique from any other . There is a common bond of comadrie that exists among us all. I suppose someone new could miss it and be scared away. I certainly hope not as we welcome everyone and are always open for new and fresh dialogue.
THis REALLY is a group of dedicated and caring people stay with us and you will see that we care very much.
Sincerely
Cherry Lane
