I think you are the one who does the insulting Betsy! Parents come here for advice and support, we see things from a different perceptive - I respect your views but quite obviously you do not respect the views of parents. If we are so childish why do you continue to visit this board yourself? I would not call it venom, that is quite uncalled for, it is the difficulties we face as parents NOT as someone who feels hard done by. Obviously adults with CAH who are bitter through their poor treatment are not going to want to see things the same was as us parents do. I have not walked in your shoes and you have not walked in mine!!! 

 

Why also do you only ever respond to surgery questions?  Why not HELP with other issues - such as side effects of medication, problems that children have that are not of a intersex nature!etc??

 

I think you enjoy upsetting the parents on this board, there is more to life than genitalia and not everyone is disappointed with surgery!!  You will not see that!! There is enough negativity in this world and this board has saved lives, so if we are all these terrible awful people that are so venomous and childish I am proud to be one of them!

 

I think Danny’s comments are very fair - BUT it was the way in which Aimee responded, it seemed sarcastic, not her normal style, as I have previously found her a very positive caring person, I actually wondered if it was really her posting which is why I asked!  I think Aimee must be going through a very hard time at the moment and I wish her well. I thought we were supposed to keep this sort of posting to the controversy board so I shall post this there too.
