Does Kaiser take Pred or Hydro? It would make you think that her Endo could research this topic more for her and I don’t know about the med bringing it out but i’ve read that the cortisones can lower our immune systems but then doctors will say we don’t take enough cortisone to lower the immune system. If the Endo isn’t into looking to see a connection then maybe the primary can refer her to someone that is interested in virus part first and would like to study cortisones reaction with it and then can help create a plan to help you daughter. Was Kaiser offered any med to suppress the outbreaks? Sometimes people just are prone to many outbreaks at first others have one or an outbreak that isn’t noticable but can still pass it on. Most people get herpes in their teen years and don’t have outbreaks but still pass it on.

If you could just tell her to take real good care of herself and that people do care. Maybe voluntering could show her that life doesn’t have to suck.
