Hi all. My almost 8 year old is asking how to make a baby. Ugh. I don’t want to bring it all to light yet. Many of my own personal reasons why not just yet. I just wondered as I prepare to tell her in the near future, what books anyone has helped explain the Birds and the Bees to their daughter were out there. Any suggestions? Maybe they have a young version that tells them most of it but not all of it. But how do you explain some of it without all of it? Just wondering and preparing. She knows where babies come from. She never had a problem with that. As a matter of fact when she was a toddler, Mr. Rogers had a show on where kittens were born. She was stark naked as usual standing on our couch watching. When the kittens came out of the mother, my daughter bent in two, looked up between her legs and said, "Where are my kitties?" I never laughed so hard in my life. So she has always got the gist of where babies come from. Now she wants to know how they got there.Laura
