I initially posted a message about another subject and i really did not say much aboutmy daughter.  Brandi is 22 years old.  She was diagnosed about 5 days old.  I was a young 19 year old.  Boy did i grow up and learn alot quick.  She is salt wasting and her  clitoris was enlarged but not too much.  So she had surgery for the vaginal walls and to extend her urethra but not on her clitoris.    We had a few scares with her health growing up her first year she was in the hospital about 7 times.  But things got better and now that she is older there are a whole different kind of things to think about and deal with.  When i was pregnant with my second child i decided against testing and just waited until she was born to see if she had CAh.  I decided i did it once i can do it again maybe that was a young mind thinking , but after initially being diagnosed with cah and starting meds it turned out she was fine and did not have cah,  that was crazy.  The girls just recently had dna testing regarding cah and my second daughter is not even a carrier.  So if there is anything i  could help with or talk about to help anyone let me know.   Brandi is here for questions too.
