I would definately check with your doctor with this. To me it sounds like a circulitory issue. It may be CAH related but I would outrule your circulation system first. Also, have you ever had any back problems? I have some issues with my back and if I sleep on the wrong side my arms "fall asleep". It could be a pinched nerve kind of thing too. You just never know with the human body. BUT on the other hand my mother in law had her electrolytes go out from not taking care of a kidney infection that got out of hand. (and was given incorrect medication that she reacted to horribly) She was in intensive care for a week. Afterward she had extensive nerve damage from that electrolyte crisis. She had extensive physical therapy for months to follow.  She still never fully recovered from the nerve damage in her hands. The tips of her fingers have no feeling. So could your numbness be CAH related? I don’t know. But I would definately outrule all your avenues.
