My son turned 2 just over a week ago; had never had more than a cold, never been on antibiotics or similar in his entire life.  Then the day after his 2nd birthday, he suffered the first adrenal crisis that we’d seen since he was diagnosed at 1 month old.  I gave my first shot of Solu-cortef that day, and it worked like a magic bullet, just the way I’ve seen described on this board.

Hopefully, she will continue to be nothing but healthy, but this little bump in the road definitely reminded me that every healthy day is a huge gift.
