My daughter has this too. We have been told that patches around the mouth are definately food allergy. If you can figure out which foods to avoid that is best. WE use a nonpetroleum product (she’s allergic to petroleum!) callen calmoseptine. We have to ask the pharmacist for it although it is not prescription. It is very thick and a pain to put on but it works. We usually put it on before bed. But like I said, avoidance of the triggers is best. WE did a blood test that told us of many things she is allergic too. It is called the ELISA Act. Good luck. If you are nursing it could be somethin you are eating. Most likely triggers include wheat, dairy, eggs, fish. JuliaJulia S
