our experience with our swcah son (who is now 1 years old) was weight loss, slept more and more every day, less and less interest in the bottle every day, and had a weird color to his skin--sort of like jaundice, but more brown. HE never vomited, but i know most do. got the newborn screen back on day 12 and was in ICU for 3 days.
