My grandson is also 8yrs old with SWCAH. He used to come home every single day crying with a headache & stomache. He was over heated and tired from school. He always took his afternoon pill at home after school each day.

So I decided to have the school nurse give him his afternoon pill at school. Each day he takes his pill at 2:00. He gets to drink gatorade, juice or water and he rest at the nurse’s office for about 10 to 15 mins. He also carrys water with him everyday. This has really helped. I don’t get a phone call everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
