My daughter, also has these feelings and issues.  Have you ever thought of asking your Endo about a diabetic diet?  I believe that is the helthiest "diet" out there.  Everyone should follow it...we’d be a healthier country!!  That being said..some of us are just never going to be models...and that’s okay.  Just please try to focus on being happy!!  Just walking 45 minutes a day can lift your spirits.

Why can’t you go swimming?  Do you dread wearing a bathing suit?  I, too have always hated it..but I LOVE to swim.  I’m 32, and just last summer, I bought a "swimdress"...I never thought that would be comfortable, maybe too heavy fabric, etc.  I like to wear it.  It covers just enough.  My daughter is getting one this year.  She is 10.  You probably feel as though other people are always looking or judging.  You know what...look right back..EVERYONE has flaws.  Just try to enjoy yourself in whatever you are doing.

Did you know that Wal Mart has started carrying a teen plus clothing line?  Also Hot Topic has cute things in larger sizes.  www.hottopic.com   JC Penney also has a teen plus line.  If you are not as tall as the length of pants..try buying capris.  I buy them up in spring for my daughter as jeans and pants.  And the capris that are supposed to be just below the knee are actually capris on her!!  Look on e bay for these cheaply....search capris and cropped pants.  In my opinion, teen clothes are not NORMAL...and I was a teenager not tooooo long ago!!  I used to hide myself in huge clothes.  I finally started to buy things that fit..no matter what the size.  A tag size is just a suggestion...no two name brands sizes measure exactly the same!!

Sweetie,  I wish I had some magic answer for you.  Just know that other people feel like you, also.  You are not alone.  If you’d like to talk, I’ll listen.  My e mail is MarilynJFK63@sbcglobal.net.  My daughter is entering her teen years, I could probably learn so much from you.  And, if I could help you with anything, I would do my best.  Your request on this message board made my heart ache.  I want you to find a song to listen to.  It is calles "Wonder" by Natalie Merchant.  I call this my daughter’s song.  Listen to it.
