re: re: To the "work at home moms"

A friend of mine started her own food business. She is in the PTC so she knows the community prettty good. What she does is make dinners for busy families OR for families that have had new babies, OR families that have some illness in their family and can’t cook. My church community really supports eachother in big ways. If there is a new baby, we all take turns making dinner for the tired mommy. If someone is ill in the family, (like the last family that had a mom that was dying of cancer, or presently a son that is undergoing chemo, or for the parent that had surgery ect.) So what happens is that one of us calls this woman if we need a meal made. She charges like 25 bucks a full meal. She has a menu but tends to be flexible. It has worked out beautifully when you don’t have time to make a meal for a family. She is there. BIG need in our community. I stink at cooking so that is not for me. I can’t boil water. But for the person that loves to cook this is for you. She even has gift certificates we can purchase. She is quite the work out of your home mom. My friend uses her because she is always on the go with her realty company. (which is a really good thing to get into because you can set your own hours.) She too is a stay at home mom. Good luck! As I go off to my first day job. Ugh.
