Nana, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Yes, Cah does indeed cause death in some instances. Lack of medication I would think being the number one. When my gdaughter was 13 months old she had the flu and went into seizures .. she stiffened her body and would not respond to any stimuli. We rushed her to childrens hospital where she was in intensive care for several weeks on a respirator in a semi coma.

Thank god they diagnosed her THEN with cah and got her stabilized and she is now home with us. It was TOO close to deaths door for us to ever be without medicine for her.
