It is so irritating to me that people think their CAH children are or may be gay because of this condition.  I hear about all the studies and surveys and medical/non medical ideas that girls with cah tend to have male tendencies.  So? I grew up with and to this day still know of plenty of girls who only had male friends and were strong athletes and they werent gay.  They had a hard time developing relationships with boys as anything other than friends.  Big deal.  Developing a good solid relationship with the opposite sex is hard enough for a lot of people right? 

Many people agree that the female body is much more attractive than the male body and women are often easier to talk to on a deeper level...  that is appealing is it not?  So are we all gay or have male tendencies?

Maybe this 21 yr old is gay/bisexual and if so thats not really a big deal in the scheme of things.  Could be worse right?  Love her and treat it as you would anything else in her life.  Just dont blame it on the cah.  It send ideas and signals to outsiders that are mixed and confusing as well as to the young girls and others on this site that may be searching their own identies and seeking answers to just where they fit in and what is and isnt normal.
