Good luck, I always get pumped about the IEP meetings....just remember the fact that the 504  is FEDERALLY funded...and remember the disability act, also.  Mention a parent advocate, as well as the lawyer.  Maybe before you leave...write down some points that you must speak about first on an index card.  Then on the back write your "rebuttals" that you want to remenber (i.e. disability act, etc.....)they don’t have to like you, you don’t have to like them...you do all have to work together to educate your son.  Don’t let him get lost in their ignorance!!  I’ll say a little prayer for ya!!
