I don’t think that it is the norm, but my 18month old SWCAH daughter is TINY. My husband & I are tall..I am 5 foot 8 inches & my husband is 6 foot 3 inches, my 3 year old NON-CAH daughter is tall as well....everyone thinks she is 4 or 5. My 18month old daughter is 19 pounds & I forget her height but she is in the 5th percentile for her height,& still not walking on her own. She is always mistaken for much younger. She goes for an MRI of her spine in a few days b/c she is not walking yet. She cruises, and will walk if you hold her hands...but the neurologist is not happy with that. (sigh) she just wants me to have grey hair & a huge therapy bill!!!
I am not blaming the CAH for her weight & height issues b/c my nephew has always been small as well. He is 3 & compared to my 3yo looks like he is just 2 and he still can wear size 2 toddler in some things(he will be 4 in september). My mother is 5 foot exactly.....so it could be from her side of the gene pool as well.
