As an adult I have been on prednisone for almost 30yrs. 2Xday I think I was in my late teens when they made the switch from cortef.  Florinef has always been .1mg.  I see my endo twice a year over the years I have been able to lower my prednisone dose 6mg a day 5 now 4mg. I’m always trying to get on the lowest dose possible.  Have been generally quite healthy in my adulthood, have traveled participated in sports in school, golf and tennis now.

Endo usually ck’s  ACTH 17-oh progesterone renin and cortisone levels
