My son (nearly 7 now) had some weird health issues these last few months. Several times he had what I thought was the stomach flu (vomitting), several times he just had chills and aches with no vomitting, and he has horrible stomach cramps.

Twice I injected with solucortef, once he perked up just like he has in the past, once he did not perk up and I took him to the ER. They ran a series of tests, nothing unusual and he perked up about 6 hours after the solu-cortef.

It has all been very strange and we don’t have any answers. He has felt better for about 10 days now. His pediatrician has ordered some other bloodwork just to rule out anything unusual. I am starting to think he might have just caught a series of bugs going around. I had a rough month and so did his brother. His pediatrician said it was the worst spring she has ever seen.
