Boy you have a super way with words. Never thought to talk to my grandson like that about CAH. I’m going to approach it the way you have. He is also 8 yrs old with SWCAH.  He takes his meds like brushing his teeth. Does it all on his own. He even comes to me to let me know hes taking it. Hope he continues like this.

I have never sat down with my whole family and had a talk about CAH. I am going to do this the next time we are all together. My sisters will call and I will say hey, we just got back from the ER he had a virus etc etc. They change the subject and I’m like what.............  I can remember him having a virus that the Dr.s were puzzled about. It took 4 days to get a special antibotic to treat it. I can’t remember that name of it. Not 1 family member came to the hospital or wanted to discuss it when we got home. I was very hurt and upset.  I think the next time I will call them & say come sit with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I wonder if it would really make a difference.
