I too agree with Paul about letting your family know that it is okay to discuss cah, but when your son is out of ear shot.  I acutally look more up on cah then my daughter does.  She calls me to ask questions and we talk about cah then.  My grandson is only 8 months, but I treat him just like my other grandbabies.  But, when he is sick, I worry more.  To me that is only natural.  And as he gets older, I will respect my daughter’s wishs on how and when to discuss cah.    I too wish for my grandson to have a normal life, just like his sisters.
