Extreme thirst

I agree with the other posts but would like to add that extreme thirst in a child with CAH can be a sign of inadequate fludrocortisone replacement.  If a child with CAH is thirsty - no way should they be denied a drink, as it could be saving them from dehydration and possible collapse, which is a life threatening situation.  Sack the counsellor!
