I just received a phone call from one of the team of endo’s at the hospital where my grandson goes. He’s a male 8 yrs old with SWCAH. 

They want to do a study on each type of steriods using dex., pred & cortef. They will give him each medicine for six wks and keep him over night after each one to do blood work. There telling me there has not been a study of this kind before and are really not sure which one is best at what level??????????????

I really want to help in anyway I can to make CAH better but I’m really not sure if I want him to go thru this. I would really appreciate anyone’s thoughts on this.
