I am a nurse working in the Newborn Screening Department of the Oklahoma State Department of Health and I am posting a message to invite families in Oklahoma to participate in a Focus Group on July 9, 2005.  The CAH screening program was launched on February 14th of this year and has been running smoothly.  With the screening component in place it is now time to begin planning for the long term needs of children and families in Oklahoma dealing with CAH.  I need your help with this next important phase of the program.

The purpose of the Focus Group is to get input from families or adults living with CAH.  You are the best resource for helping me develop an effective program that will make a positive difference in your ability to care for your children as they grow up with CAH.  During this planning time, you can share ideas, concerns and needs with me, as well as meet other parents who have children diagnosed with CAH.
