Dental questions

Our 3 year old (SWCAH) went in for a dentist appointment today -he has 4 cavities & they are going to have to put him out to hopefully fill all of them at once -my husband just called from his office so I don’t know all the details, only that it will cost us $900+ !!  Has anyone had any problems with their teeth that they think are related to the meds -our dentist thought it may have more to do with the sugar in breast milk (the body breaks these sugars down & processes them) and then when they switch to table food sugar, it can rot the teeth???? We brush his teeth twice a day, plus he play with his toothbrush in between...I’m just surprised at how bad things are. -and now I’m more worried as our 1 year old (SWCAH) takes his night meds with apple juice -which then sits there overnight!!!! We are switching him to water ASAP!

The dentist will call our endo & we have an appointment with him(our endo) before the dentist appointment, so...please just keep him in your prayers -I know it’s not major surgery -but he will be put out, and can’t eat for 4 hours before -and he has had 2 hypoglycemic episodes.  Good thoughts are appreciated. Thanks so much!!
