I have a mutation that they still can’t identify.  I am going through linkage analysis with my husband and my son so that they will know what to look for in a future pregnancy.  Also, I was told something about a less than 1% chance that I am not even a carrier and that my son’s DNA could have just mutated on its own and caused the CAH...  A little weird, but as a scientist myself I understand how that could happen.  So, in short, in our situation it was definately necessary to have my son’s blood drawn also.
