Misty,If they carry Solu-Cortef they will probably call it Hydrocortisone. They may not carry it but they will at least know what it is.
If the guy said Demerol then that is a pain killer, not a stereoid replacement.
EMS will always do what a doctor directs them to do. If they don’t they can lose their jobs. So if you got a letter from your endo explaining that your child needs Hydrocortisone, and then give them that, then that should get their attention. That might be the best way to start talking with them. It may be that they don’t carry it but that they can transport quickly to a hospital that can administer it.
