My grandson who is 8yrs old SWCAH fell at school (or should I say 2 boys pushed him down) off the monkey bars and the nurse called to say he hurt his wrist & she thought it was broken. Well per my guidelines from my endo that is high on the list for adrenal crisis. When I got to school and took one look at his wrist and him I gave him the solu-cortef and we went to the ER.  THey said it was definetly broken. The next day we had the cast put on. We only gave him the 1 shot and tripled his dose by mouth for the next day or 2. I was amazed he did very well.
